Digital generating method for cylindrical helical gear based on indexable disk milling cutter

چکیده

To solve the problem of low efficiency in digital generating machining for producing small or medium batches helical gears, a method to improve with an indexable disk milling cutter is presented this paper. First, mathematical model tooth profile and are established. Second, according spatial free-form envelope theory, overall planning scheme tool path given; relative position transformation matrix during using solved, simulation cutting actual experiments conducted, per unit time two tools under same deformation conditions obtained through finite element analysis experiment. The results show that was 2–3 times higher than end mill cutter.
